Thanks to tables filled with sweet treats, The Good Samaritan Society’s Heron Grove’s third annual Decadent Dessert Fundraiser Sept. 12 was a smashing success.
The wonderful affair was a smashing success. More than $14,000 was raised, the most of any event, for Heron Grove’s Raise the Roof Campaign. This monumental achievement was aided by many generous donors including one anonymous donation of $10,000.
The project’s goal has been met, thanks to dedicated sponsors, including title sponsor, Phil Southward of Southward Medical Supplies, attendees, volunteers, community members and, of course, the residents and staff at Heron Grove.
