Catching kids doing things right is the theme of the annual Positive Tickets summer program organized by South Cowichan Community Policing.
A young person caught by police doing something right is given a ticket which he or she can take to the Mill Bay community policing office and there pick up a gift donated by local retailers.
The program began April 10 and will continue all summer, ending Aug. 22.
At the Cobble Hill Fair, larger prizes will be awarded to the names drawn from the tickets handed in to the community policing office.
