Grace Bible Church continues to grow in the community

Grace Bible Church is celebrating the harvest as well as fundraising to expand its existing building.

The community harvest dinner is a family event starting at 5 p.m., with restaurant-style seating until 7 p.m. All ages are welcome, and the cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. Tickets are available at the door.

Grace Bible Church is the result of two churches merging together in 2007.

“We wanted to build our relationships with one another and create a church where young and old could enjoy intergenerational community worship and clear Bible teaching,” said Julene Ponipal, worship arts director.

The building’s expansion will allow the church to seat 500 people in a new sanctuary, with supporting rooms to facilitate the many different ministries of the church.

“We are using this time to raise funds so that we will not incur a heavy debt load,” said church administrator Deb Holbrook. “There are four events between now and Christmas that the community is invited to attend.”
