Roy Palmer knew how to beat the commuter chaos Wednesday morning after the region was blanketed with between15 and 28 centimetres of snow.
He went for a jog in his new snowshoes with his dog Scout at Goldstone Park near 146 Street and 58 Avenue.
Mild temperatures and lots of rain are in the forecast for the next week.
