The Summerland Asset Development Initiative is planning indoor activities for Summerland’s young people this month.

“There are lots of exciting things happening this month at SADI to help you get through the long and cold month,” said  Laceydawn Loeppky, youth activities co-ordinator for the Summerland Asset Development Initiative.

Young people will be traveling to Kelowna to the Energyplex family recreation centre and the H20 adventure and fitness centre.

Also planned is a guys-only tournament of Halo, a video fiction game.

“And don’t forget our after school drop in Monday to Thursday from 3 to 6 p.m. for Grades 6 to 12.  There is always something going on at SADI; why miss out?”

SADI is always looking for new volunteers.  To help support the youth in Summerland, contact Loeppky at SADI at 250-494-9722.

Financial support for SADI is also appreciated. Through the SADI Sustainer program you can pledge a donation annually, quarterly or monthly.

Go to the sadi.ca website and click on the link. “You can donate through cheque or PayPal so it couldn’t be easier,” she said.
