Fraser River

Located on Abbotsford’s northern border, it yields Steelhead and Chinook salmon and Sturgeon from July to October.

Mill Lake

In the heart of Abbotsford, the lake is annually stocked with rainbow trout. It’s best to fish here in the spring and fall.

Sumas River

Abbotsford’s Sumas River contains Coho from mid-September to December, along with Dolly Varden, Cutthroat, Steelhead and Sturgeon.

Vedder River

The Vedder River in Chilliwack is a popular location for Coho from mid-September to December. From December to March it bears Steelhead, and from April to September you can reel in a few Whitefish.

Rolley Lake

Near Mission, the lake is packed with Cutthroat and Dolly Varden trout along with Brown Bullhead. It’s also frequently stocked with Rainbow Trout.

Stave Lake

This Mission location offers Cutthroat, Rainbow, Kokanee and Dolly Varden trout.

Weaver Creek

Located near Harrison Mills, the creek has Steelhead from December to March. The salmon spawning area is popular for viewing in October.

Morris Lake

Also located in Harrison, the lake yields Cutthroat and Rainbow Trout in the spring and fall. Coho salmon can also be found in the fall. Occasionally, Steelhead are caught in the winter.
