Love Desserts? Love to Learn?

Kerry and Kathy Varcoe of Wycliffe Translators are working in the Babar Islands of Indonesia translating the local oral Tela language into written language.

They will be at St. Alban’s Anglican Church Hall on Wednesday, Feb. 9, beginning at 7 pm to teach us about the work in which they are involved, the struggles they have encountered along the way and the progress they have made in the time they have lived in Babar.

Come, treat yourself to a scrumptious, hand-crafted dessert and learn what it’s like to live, work and play with people from the Indonesian culture.

There is no cost to attend but a donation will be taken to support Kerry and Kathy in their work in the Babar Islands.
