Barriere Investors Group Walk For Alzheimers co-chairs, Liz Gilbertson and Margaret Houben, were the hosts this year for the annual No-Host Bazaar held on Nov. 19.

“We’d like to thank everyone who attended this year’s bazaar – those who helped set up the tables on Friday night, all the vendors (we had 22 tables booked, including the kitchen concession), those who dropped in to shop, and everyone who helped clean up the hall afterwards,” said Houben, “Thanks also to the North Thompson Fall Fair and Rodeo Association for waiving the hall rental again – as they have done every year.  Barriere is such a great community!”

The popular event featured all sorts of items for sale: baking – from cookies and buns to cakes and tarts; handcrafted items – from snowmen to quilts; numerous gift baskets, and even a small silent auction.

Gilbertson points out that the 2017 No Host Bazaarr next November will be run by Barriere Crime Stoppers.
