Meet the Authors Among Us

Writers part of panel discussion on overcoming life's challenges at the Guildford Library on Dec. 3.

Did you know that Surrey has a vibrant writing community?

On Dec. 3 from 7-8:30 p.m., as part of Surrey Libraries’ Authors Among Us Series, join local authors at the Guildford Library (15105 105 Ave.) for a panel discussion on overcoming life challenges.

The event is called Authors Among Us Keep Calm and Carry On: Overcoming Life Challenges.

Meet authors who have written about life’s curveballs, big or small. Explore the different ways people can cope and triumph over challenges in an increasingly complex world.

The authors featured are:

• Gina McMurchy-Barber, author of Free as a Bird, the Peggy Henderson Adventures, and When Children Play: The Story of the Right to Play;

• Trudy Davies, author of Butterfly Dreams: Milo’s Adventure;

• Megan Williams, author of Our Interrupted Fairy Tale;

• Evelyn H. Lazare, author of The Ladies Who Don’t Lunch and The Ladies Who Still Don’t Lunch; and
