Another successful pitch in community clean up was held in Little Fort on Apr. 23.

Argo Road Maintenance were generous sponsors once again and also supplied the gloves, bags, safety signs, and high visual vests.

The Little Fort Recreation Society provided a tasty lunch for the volunteers.

Little Fort resident Jackie Johnson tells that this event began in 2004 with the local youth group, and has been sponsored and supported by the Rec Society and Argo every year.

A big thank you was given to the volunteers;  Crystal Hartfield, JoAnne Livingstone, Jack Livingstone, Libby Toman, Kim Cartwright, Kathy Karlstrom, Kathy and Willie Dana, Juanita, Shane, Laurie, Ryleigh, Macey, Eli and Brynley Pittman, Barb and Hector Denton, Indigo and Rowan Johnson, Duncan McGrath, April, Gavin and Landon Alward, and Garth and Adrienne Campbell.

Johnson says, “We will be purchasing big beautiful planters to add to the newly renovated community hall.”
