A magic show attracted a sizable number of youngsters at the first Nanoose Bay Day at the Red Gap Centre Saturday, while adults learned about the local businesses and non-profits that operate in the area.
Hot dogs by donation garnered some money for the local Parent Advisory Committee, while organizations like Nanoose Community Services (NCS) and CatSpan provided education on their services. NCS assists low-income residents, and CatSpan which cares for feral cats.
