Only two spots left for Golden trade show

The Golden Spring Home and Lifestyle Show is on April 26-27, and time is running out to get one of the last two open booths for the event.

The 2013 Golden Spring Home and Lifestyle Show is set to go on April 26-27, and time is running out to get one of the last two open booths for the event.

According to the manager of the Kicking Horse Country Chamber of Commerce, Ruth Hamilton, the show is creating quite a buzz in the area.

“Things have been going really well. My saying at this point is that anyone sitting on the fence should give me a call and book a booth,” she said.

Hamilton said there will be a great mix of businesses at the event again this year.

“There are home-based businesses, financial, retail stores, ATVs and even some people from Cranbrook. There will be plumbing and heating people, restaurants and gardening. There is something at the event for everyone.”

Hamilton added there will also be lots of local music at the event and demonstrations.

On the morning of the April 27 there will be a free pancake breakfast starting at 9 a.m., which will be hosted by the Rotary Club of Golden.

For people interested in provincial politics this will also give them the chance to come out and meet at least two of the candidates who will be running in the upcoming election.

Anyone interested in booking one of the last spots or having something outside of the event (like the Golden Fire Department who will be on hand) can contact Hamilton at 250 344-7125.
