Santa Paws visits with pets at Tri Lake

Tri Lake Animal Hospital holds its annual pet photos with Santa Claus

Santa had such a great time with all the pets who came to see him at Tri Lake Animal Hospital last year that he is back again this year.

“We all know this is Santa’s busiest time of year so we are very pleased that he has found time in his training schedule to come and visit the furred, feathered and scaled pets of Tri Lake Animal Hospital,” said Cara Reed, client services manager with the Winfield veterinary clinic. “He is coming early so everyone has time to get their photos out to friends and family before Christmas.”

Santa will be at Tri Lake on Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. Bring in your pet for a digital photo with Santa for $10. Additional pets can have their photo for $5. Duggan Photography will be on hand to capture the moment, and proceeds from the day will be donated by Tri Lake Animal Hospital to two local animal charities, Beagle Paws Rescue and Critteraid. Both groups will have reps on site and may have a few pets looking for their forever homes. As well, there will be a raffle, with proceeds going to the groups. Coffee and home-baked cookies will be available at no charge, although donations are welcome.

“We will also be offering behind-the-scenes tours of Tri Lake Animal Hospital,” said Reed. “Our veterinarians are able to use the Okanagan’s only pet CT scanner, a digital radiology and ultrasound suite.”

Tri Lake Animal Hospital is at 10564 Powley Court in Winfield. For details, see www.trilake.ca
