Mark your calendars for the Kent Street Activity Centre’s annual general meeting.
All members of the Kent Street Activity Centre are invited to attend the centre’s AGM on Monday, Nov. 28 at 2:30 p.m. Activity reports will be presented and two members at large will be elected. Complimentary refreshments will be served.
• Now is the time to purchase your White Rock Recreation and Culture membership for 2017.
Once registered, you will have access to all of the activity groups at the Kent Street Activity Centre and you can enjoy early registration and discounted rates off of registered programs found in the White Rock Recreation Guide.
Why not try something new this winter; kick up your heels in a dance class, express yourself in one of the art classes, improve your computers skills,or get healthy and active in one of our many fitness classes.

• Calling all mah jong players! Drop into Mah Jong every Monday, 1-3 p.m. at White Rock Community Centre.
Players should be able to count their hand prior to joining. A White Rock Recreation and Culture membership is required.
• Looking for a special gift that is sure to put a smile on someone’s face?
The Kent Street Coffee shop is selling gift cards for only $5. Great to use for the purchase of any delicious homemade item on the menu. Pop in anytime the coffee shop is open – 9 a.m. till 1 p.m., Monday to Friday – to purchase your card.
• Head down to the Kent Street Activity Centre Wednesday evening and enjoy the fabulous music of Greg Hampson on stage in the Kent Street auditorium, located at 1475 Kent St.
Doors open at 7 p.m.. with social dancing from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. Open to all ages 50+ and includes refreshments at the break. An inexpensive and fun night out for only $6 members and $7 non-members.
