Mission motorcyclists are invited to participate in the annual Westcoast Motorcycle Ride to Live fundraiser in support of prostate cancer research.
The annual ride happens May 29 and begins at two separate start points, said ride officer and Mission resident Roy Hafeli.
The Chilliwack ride hosts a pre-registration and check-in May 28 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Mountain View Harley-Davidson. On event day, registration is at the Chilliwack Walmart from 7 to 8:45 a.m. The Vancouver ride starts at Trev Deeley Motorcycles with registration May 28 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and on ride day from 7 to 8:45 a.m.
Both rides start at 9 a.m. with a bang provided by a Canadian Forces howitzer cannon, said Hafeli.
Each route is approximately 150 km and ends at Fraser Downs Racetrack in Cloverdale.
