The South Okanagan Genealogical Society will hold an open house later this month.
The event will be in the Penticton Library and Museum Auditorium, 785 Main St., Penticton.
Displays include tracing your ancestors, pedigree charts, genealogy research, the Ancestor Detective program available to schools, historic events tied to family members, the Family Tree Maker program, genealogy through DNA, maps, obituary and history binders, books and newsletters from the genealogical library and some ethnic costumes.
Books, magazines, binders and pedigree charts will be available for sale.
Members will be on hand to answer questions about genealogy research.
