Games, crafts and creepy treats are all part of the fun as the Greater Vernon Museum & Archives hosts its annual Halloween event this month.
The Halloween Monster Mash Party takes place Oct. 25 and as part of the museum’s Halloween tradition, the old Vernon shops will be open for trick-or-treaters to collect and enjoy creepy treats.
“We’re once again encouraging everyone to come dressed in costume and those who do can enter their name in our draw,” said Jennifer Suttling, event coordinator for the museum, who has been busy planning a variety of new games and crafts for the party.
The Halloween event takes place Oct. 25 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Tickets are available at the museum prior to the event, and are $3 per child with the accompanying adult(s) free. Due to space, the museum is not able to accommodate drop-ins this year.
