Wildflower Marijuana buying property

Courting Wildflower Marijuana Inc. has paid off for the City of Parksville.

The medical-marijuana company has agreed to buy surplus Englishman River Water Services land for $870,000.

The 14.5-acre property, an abandoned gravel pit, is located directly west of the Parksville industrial park on Tuan Road.

The company has already paid a $20,000 non-refundable deposit to the city and will pay all legal fees, subdivision costs, as well as on and offsite service requirements, the report says.

The land purchase’s closing date will be on or before Feb. 15, 2016, which gives the company more than a year to apply for a new Marijuana for Medical Purposes Regulation licence for the site.
