There are 1041 customers affected by power outages on the North Island.
BC Hydro’s outage list for Northern Vancouver Island includes:
North of Sointula/Port McNeill Ferry – 481 customers with no power since 5:51 a.m. with the cause being listed as under investigation;
North-South-East-West of Coal Harbour Road – 350 customers with no power since 2:10 a.m. with the cause being listed as trees down across wires;
West of F Avenue, East of Rupert Street, South of Hasting Street, North of Gibraltar Street in Port Hardy – 129 customers with no power since 6:57 a.m. with the cause being trees down across wires;
East of Kaleva Road in Sointula – 65 customers with no power since 10:37 p.m. last night with the cause being listed as under investigation; and
West of Winter Harbour Road, East of Elizabeth Avenue, South of Thompson Street, North of Croft Street – 7 customers with no power since 8:16 a.m. with the cause being listed as under investigation.
