The Trail After School Band wants its stolen saxophone back, no questions asked.

That’s why band coordinator Terry Moon is offering a $200 reward for the return of the brass instrument, which was lifted from the trunk of a car in West Trail three weeks ago.
Moon urges anyone who knows the whereabouts of the 30-pound sax, which was stored in a beat-up black case, to email him at dellaluna@telus.net to make arrangements, no names required.
“It’s a big instrument,” Moon said. “So we are concerned it’s been hidden away somewhere because it is so big, I mean how do you get rid of it? So if it’s still around, I would like them to email me and we will come up with a location to make the transfer.”
More than anything, Moon wants it returned so students in the After School Band once again have the ability to learn how to play the low-pitch instrument.
“The community gets the benefit,” he said. “So it’s hurting everyone around here, and we just want it back.”
