A 17-year-old Surrey boy is in stable condition after being stabbed in the abdomen in North Surrey.
The teen was near Tom Binnie park at 6 p.m. on Sunday when he was approached by three other teens.
At one point, it’s believed a 17-year-old male from Vancouver stabbed the boy.
He faces charges of assault with a weapon and possessing a dangerous weapon.
Because of his age, he will not be named, unless the courts determine to try him as an adult.
Surrey RCMP have also arrested a 17-year-old girl from New Westminster who was believed to be in possession of a weapon.
There was also a younger New Westminster female who was arrested on similar charges.
All three have been processed and have been released on a promise to appear in court in May.
