On Oct. 30, members of St. George’s Catholic Church in Barriere took part in a peaceful demonstration on the lawn of the church in support of 40 Days For Life. 40 Days For Life is the largest internationally coordinated pro-life mobilization in history.  It goal is to help people in local communities end the injustice of abortion through: prayer and fasting; community outreach; and peaceful vigil.  In Kamloops, 40 Days For Pro Life runs from Sept. 28 to Nov. 6 this year, with a prayer vigil from 3:30-5:30 p.m. each day, on 3rd Avenue between Nicola and Columbia Street.
