A little snow and hail for Chilliwack but no record broken

It was the second snowiest April day in Chilliwack on record Friday

Friday marked the second snowiest April day on record for Chilliwack.

There were periods of wet snow, moderate at times, until about 1 p.m, interspersed with hail.

Total snowfall and hail precipitation was 14.7 centimetres with up to 3 centimetres of wet snow accumulating on the ground, according to Roger Pannett, volunteer weather observer for Environment Canada.
