An Abbotsford small business was robbed at knifepoint Wednesday evening.
Sgt. Judy Bird, spokesperson for the Abbotsford Police Department, said the suspect reportedly entered a business, identified by witnesses as the D-Hut Pizza and More on Clearbrook Road, and began talking to the employee behind the counter.
The suspect made an inquiry, and the employee turned around, and by the time the employee turned back, the suspect had pulled out a knife and demanded money, Bird said.
Police got the call to the business at around 9 p.m. Wednesday, and brought a dog in to track the suspect, which ultimately lost the scent. Police will be checking CCTV in the area on Thursday.
Anyone with information is asked to call the APD at 604-859-5225 or text 22973 (abbypd).
