Abbotsford Police are still hunting for a woman who tried to steal money from a South Fraser Way business and then pepper sprayed an employee who declined to hand over cash.
Sgt. Judy Bird said that a woman entered a business in the 32700 block of South Fraser Way around 8:45 p.m. on May 31 and demanded money. When the cashier declined to give the woman money, the suspect pepper sprayed her and took off.
Police have yet to arrest a suspect, who was described as a tall, skinny caucasian woman, wearing a black baseball cap with a white logo, a black hoodie with the white letters H & H, and large bug-eyed sunglasses. The woman got into a car described as an black or blue older small, sporty sedan.
