The Abbotsford Police Department (APD) issued 81 speeding tickets during its “30 in 30” project last Thursday and Friday.
The project involved APD traffic officers, aided by several other APD units, spending at least an hour at each of the more than 30 elementary schools in Abbotsford.
The APD says that, during that time, officers actually logged 45.75 hours of enforcement at 34 schools.
The APD hinted on social media that more traffic-enforcement projects are coming.
