Aboriginal AIDS awareness week

In recognition of  Aboriginal AIDS Awareness Week (Dec. 1 to 5), AIDS Vancouver Island (AVI) Campbell River is hosting a fun, informative and interactive evening aimed at increasing awareness and knowledge about HIV/AIDS in our communities.

The event takes place on Dec. 3 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Youth and Elders Building next to the Thunderbird Hall on the Campbell River Indian Band.

AVI Campbell River has partnered with KDC Health and the Campbell River Indian Band to present an informative, interactive evening about HIV, and living with HIV.

The event will feature presenters from KDC, AVI and guests. This event promises to dispel myths and provide direct, easy to learn information about HIV.

All Campbell River community members are invited to this free event but space is limited.

To reserve your seat please call 250-830-0787 or email Leanne.wingert@avi.org
