An accident in the south Nanaimo area saw Howard Avenue closed off Thursday afternoon.
Emergency responders responded to a call of a motor vehicle incident in the 800 block of Howard Avenue, near Nova Street, around 2 p.m. July 23 and according to Nanaimo RCMP, it appears as if a truck turned into a driveway, cutting off a motorcycle.
The motorcycle was clipped and left the roadway.
The motorcyclist was taken to hospital and suffered minor injuries, police said.
Howard Avenue has since re-opened to traffic.
