Acting vice-principal appointed at Giant’s Head Elementary School in Summerland

Scott McIntosh will serve from Jan. 1 to July 31, 2020

An acting vice-principal has been appointed to Giant’s Head Elementary School in Summerland.

Scott McIntosh has been named acting vice-principal effective Jan. 1 to July 31, 2020.

For the past six years, he has worked as a teacher at Uplands, Parkway and Queen’s Park Elementary School in Penticton.

In addition, he has worked with the levelled literacy intervention professional development sessions and has organized wellness activities for staff in the school district.

Prior to working in the Okanagan Skaha School District, he spent three years as a teacher in the Peace River South School District.

He will replace Kirsten Odian, who has been appointed principal of Trout Creek Elementary School in Summerland.
