Friday’s third advance poll in Carr’s Landing for the Lake Country Okanagan Rail Corridor borrowing bylaw referendum resulted in 161 votes cast and together with those cast last Wednesday and Thursday, make a total of 1,745 votes so far in the referendum.
The final results of all polls will be tallied by election officials once the polls close on general voting day Saturday, April 25th.
Residents have two more days of advance voting: Today at the Okanagan Centre Community Hall between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. and Tuesday, April 21 at Municipal Hall between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.
General voting day is Saturday April 25 at George Elliot Secondary School, Community Gym with the polls open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
