A proposal to create an Agri-centre at Eldridge and Atkinson roads will go to public hearing on Monday.
The project was originally slated for a public hearing on Oct. 20, but was postponed due to an error that resulted in the public notification not meeting the requirements under the Local Government Act.
The proposal would consolidate agricultural equipment dealers to a centralized location outside the city’s urban development boundary on a 33-acre parcel.
Rezoning of the site is required, as well as an official community plan (OCP) amendment. It is currently zoned as suburban residential.
Public hearings are held at Matsqui Centennial Auditorium at 7 p.m.
