BC Ambulance called RCMP to the scene of a single-vehicle accident late Saturday May 18.
A vehicle pulling a U-Haul trailer entered the ditch on Highway 3 near Eastgate.
The driver was taken to hospital and police continue to investigate, according to Sergeant Robert Hughes.
Alcohol is suspected as a contributing factor to the accident, he said.
