Alcohol suspected in single-vehicle crash in Saanich on New Years Day

Police issue driver an immediate driving prohibition

Saanich Police say alcohol is suspected in a single-vehicle crash on Obed Avenue at Harriet Road in Saanich the evening of Jan. 1.

Police attended the scene and found the driver of the vehicle. Alcohol was suspected to be a factor, and police said the investigation resulted in an immediate driving prohibition and vehicle impoundment for the driver.
