After beautiful theatre performances by the Vanderhoof Children’s Theatre, it will soon be time for W.L. McLeod’s annual production.
Now in it’s 12th year of productions, the elementary school has over eighty students participating from grade 1 to 6, who will perform Alice in Wonderland Jr.
Libby Hart, principal of the school said this year they are changing things up with their stage.
“We’re really excited to show off the difference because we think it shows off our kids even better,” Hart told the Omineca Express.

Students and teachers have been working on this show since the end of September and “there have been hours and hours of work after school, on Saturdays and at recess and lunch hours,” the principal added.
Public shows are from March 5 to March 7, at 7 p.m. and there will be a matinee on the 7th at 1 pm as well.
“We did ‘Alice in Wonderland’ eleven years ago as well. It is truly a family show and we encourage everyone to bring children of all ages to enjoy a show,” Hart added.
