Traffic on Kalamalka Lake Road, near the Vernon Golf and Country Club is reduced to single-lane only as crews resurface the pavement.
In order to reduce congestion and idling, motorists are advised to take alternate routes between Vernon and Coldstream, such as College Way or Middleton Way.
Construction is expected to be completed in about two weeks.
