An accident with an ambulance in North Surrey Tuesday sparked a six vehicle collision.
At about 6:30 p.m. the ambulance was heading westbound on 96 Avenue when it collided with a southbound Chrysler Intrepid. The two vehicles glanced off each other, hitting another four that were waiting for the light.
The man and woman that were in the ambulance were treated for whiplash and bruising, while a woman in the Intrepid is being treated for a possible broken hip. The man in that car is being treated for bruising.
The people in the four cars hit later are also being treated for whiplash and bruising.
Police say alcohol and drugs were not factors in the accident.
Surrey RCMP traffic services continue to investigate.
