The city released the results from the Citizen Satisfaction survey.
These included the responses of three survey reports. The first from a telephone survey of 400 and two both online surveys.
Questions ranged on the overall quality of life (87 per cent saying excellent) to the most important issue facing the city (30.2 per cent stating the poor economy) to extending infrastructure to un-serviced areas (71 per cent agreeing this is important).
The survey cost $5,000 to perform and was a part of the Quesnel Sustainability budget.
“It shows that we are doing a good job,” Mayor Mary Sjostrom said.
“I’m happy about the information.
Coun. Thapar disagreed.
“Another waste of money,” he said.
