If you want to sense freedom and feel a catch in your throat, watching an eagle return to the wild is just for you.
After an eagle’s six-month rehabilitation, the North Island Wildlife Recovery Centre gives the public the opportunity to witness the event, happening Saturday, April 6 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The day starts with a glove-trained raptor presentation, moving directly into an informative talk about eagles by Dr. Malcolm McAdie.
