The Cherry Lane Liquor Store will be donating 10 per cent of the profits from sales of all B.C. craft beer and B.C. VQA wine to the Red Cross on May 7. On the same day, staff members will also be donating 100 per cent of their tips to the cause, supporting those affected by the Fort McMurray fires. The cause hits close to home for one of the store’s team members, whose step-daughter was forced out of her home just a few days ago.
