Argo sweeper truck rear-ended on Highway 5

This Argo Road Maintenance (Thompson) work crew truck is shown being hauled out of the ditch off Highway 5 near Sun Rivers after it was rear-ended by a semi just before midnight on Monday, Mar. 25. The Argo truck, with the driver inside, was rear-ended while doing highway sweeping. However, the crew had done proper traffic control by using signage and blocking the lane.

RCMP report the driver of the Argo vehicle and the semi were taken to Royal Inland Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and that the semi driver was ticketed for driving without due care and attention.
