B.C.’s best bantam hockey players have been honoured by their home town.
Armstrong council officially recognized the North Okanagan Knights Monday as the tier 4 bantam provincial champions.
“City hall was packed which was really nice,” said Mayor Chris Pieper.
Pieper says it’s exciting for the community to see most of the players grow up together and pursue their hockey dreams.
“We don’t get many provincial champions in the community, so it was nice to recognize them,” he said.
