Armstrong residents get reminder on snow removal policy

City asks to keep parked vehicles off streets to help with snow removal with white stuff in forecast

  • Jan. 3, 2019 12:00 a.m.

With snow in the forecast, the City of Armstrong is reminding residents to remove all parked vehicles from city streets to assist in snow removal activities.

Vehicles parked on any street within the city create unsafe conditions and will cause interference with plowing, hauling, sanding and the maintenance required for the snow removal program.

“Uncleaned sections of the roadway create hazards for pedestrians, other vehicles and first responders,” said Warren Smith, community services manager for the city.
