Attempted abduction in Langley on Friday

12-year-old girl gets away from man described as having a scratch on the right side of his face.

Langley RCMP are dealing with an attempted abduction of a 12-year-old girl in Langley City on Friday.

Around 3:30 p.m., the girl was walking down 205 Street when she was approached by a Caucasian man in his 30s, with brown scruffy hair, 5’9″ tall, stocky build, with a scratch on the right side of his face, wearing a black zip up hoody, dark blue jeans and white Nike runners.  Also he was wearing a watch with a silver band and Roman numerals tattooed on his right arm.

The suspect was driving a white pickup truck with a large dent on the rear passenger side near the tailgate and a dent on the driver’s side door with scratches around it.
