B.C. Ferries is preparing for a busy Easter long weekend by adding 58 extra sailings beginning on April 2.
The bulk of the extra sailings are scheduled for the Tsawwassen-Swartz Bay route, but the company added 10 extra sailings between Departure Bay and Horseshoe Bay.
The most popular travel times are expected to be midday Thursday to late morning Friday with traffic moving from Metro Vancouver to Vancouver Island. The holiday Monday afternoon is expected to be busy with traffic returning to Metro Vancouver.
