Dick Munn opened Gallagher’s Canyon in Kelowna in 1980 with Alberta oilman Angus MacKenzie.
Munn started his golf career at age 19 as head pro at Cedar Hill in his hometown of Victoria, according to an obituary posted on British Columbia Golf.
Munn was 72.
