Chilliwack firefighters made quick work of a barn fire on Prairie Central Road.
The blaze, which started just after noon, was located less than a kilometre east of Chilliwack River Road.
Smoke was rising from the back of the property as firefighters arrived.
There are reports one person was being treated by paramedics on scene.
Motorists are being urged to stay away from the area.
