Local entrepreneur Brennan Day was officially nominated as the next BC Liberal candidate for Courtenay-Comox on Aug. 10.
With a diverse background in the energy sector and managing large natural resource projects around the world, Day is ready to put his expertise to work as the next MLA for Courtenay-Comox.
The riding was among the most competitive in the 2017 election, with the NDP incumbent elected by a margin of just 189 votes.
“It is an honour to be the next BC Liberal candidate for Courtenay-Comox — a riding that will be watched from throughout the province, ” said Day. “As we prepare for an election that the NDP could trigger as early as this fall, I can’t wait to start meeting constituents and getting their feedback on how we can kickstart B.C.’s economic recovery.”
“I’m delighted to welcome Brennan Day to the team as we focus on B.C.’s economic comeback while continuing to battle this pandemic,” said BC Liberal Leader Andrew Wilkinson. “Brennan brings a wealth of experience and knowledge that will be crucial to driving economic prosperity and opportunity in B.C.”
