UPDATE (1 p.m.): The BC Wildfire Service has confirmed there is a fire in the Moose Valley Provincial Park area,
“It is located on an island and we did send some resources there, along with a parks representative,” said Jessica Mack. “Within their response plan, they would like us to just monitor the fire right now.”
The status of the fire is no considered as ‘being held.’
No structures are threatened by the fire and it is still being estimated at 0.01 hectares in size.
The BC Wildfire Service is investigating a possible wildfire in the Moose Valley Provincial Park area.
