On Oct. 9, the RCMP investigated what they said was a multi-hit residential alarm on the 3600 block of Alfred Avenue.

When police arrived they found that the home’s window screens appeared to have been pulled off two windows. RCMP went through the home and found no one inside. Evidence suggests that the suspects were travelling by bicycle.

The window screens were seized for forensic evidence. Nothing appeared to be taken and the only damage was a little to the exterior door frame, which also seemed to be the point of entry for the suspects.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the RCMP at either 250-847-3233, or call Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
