Belmont secondary principal leaves his post

Pacific secondary school principal working double duty as principal at both schools

Belmont secondary school is in need of a principal. Carl Repp, the former principal resigned and left his post abruptly on Nov. 23.

Since his departure Pacific secondary school principal Heather Ratcliffe-Hood is working double duty as principal at both schools.

“We have great vice principals at both schools,” said Jim Cambridge, Sooke School District superintendent.

Cambridge doesn’t know what Repp is doing now and wouldn’t comment on why he left.

The job is posted and Cambridge plans to have the position filled by the end of December.

In February Belmont’s vice principal Dick Juhasz is retiring. Then Darren Russell, the vice principal of Dunsmuir middle school is scheduled to take over.
